Natalie & Brett’s love story is truly a unique one. Starting all the way back in the second grade, when they first met, to eighth grade where they began their dating relationship, then nearly ten years later on May 21, 2021 they have finally become husband and wife! It’s not common to be able to say you knew your spouse in Elementary school, what a wonderful thing to marry your lifelong friend!
Natalie & Brett’s big day began at St Teresa of Avila Catholic Student Center in Valparaiso, Indiana, where they had a Catholic wedding ceremony at their home church. From there, we made a stop at Coffee Creek Park in Chesterton for bridal party photos as well as newlywed photos of Brett & Natalie. Then we made our way to Duneland Falls, also in Chesterton, to end the night with their reception.
The biggest thing that stood out about the reception was Natalie’s ballroom father/daughter dance with her Dad. Her parents are ballroom dancers, so this was so neat and beautiful to watch! I’m already calling it best father/daughter dance of the year! Another special detail about the day was the fake rose incorporated in Natalie’s bouquet. This rose is from Brett & Natalie’s FIRST Valentines day together, so like 10 years ago, and he gave it to her along with a dozen other real roses saying he’d love her til the last rose dies. So sweet that she held onto it for so long!
