Kayla & Jacob’s wedding day began at Jacob’s home church-St Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg, Indiana. They had a beautiful catholic wedding ceremony in front of all their family and friends inside this gorgeous Catholic Church. As a wedding photographer, gotta love catholic sanctuaries with beautiful lighting like this one had!
After the ceremony, we all traveled to Walhill Farm in Batesville, Indiana where we celebrated the new Mr & Mrs Johnson! This reception was so much fun. They served a delicious BBQ dinner buffet, desserts and there were so many funny memorable moments such as their crazy bridal party entrances, a GREAT cake smash and a dance floor that kept going strong! I’m pretty sure Jacob and his 4 brothers were the life of this party and kept everyone entertained and having a blast.
It was such a pleasure serving these two on their wedding day. Kayla is such a kind soul with a super sweet demeanor and Jacob is such a gentleman while also having the best sense of humor. I love a couple I can laugh along with! Overall these two are just so kind and easy-going, my ideal couple to work with! I adore watching them together because their love is so sweet too. Like Kayla’s maid of honor shared during her speech at the reception, Kayla & Jacob share a friendship and faith that is beyond special. Their day reflected that and I was so honored to be apart of it!
