Jack & Alexis chose the most ideal venue for a light & airy photographer! A large venue with white & gray walls, large windows providing ample natural light and beautiful white tables & chairs. I just love the clean, airy, crisp feel to these photos!
The neutral colors used in their decor and attire paired with the white florals and greenery really pulled together this classy, elegant wedding day at The Hawthorns in Fishers, Indiana.
Alexis is a super sweet, laid back, genuine kind of person, but she is also hilarious because (being a huge Jonas Brothers fan for years) she brought her life-size cutout of Joe Jonas that she has held onto for years to her wedding day! This was amazing and I couldn’t help but snap a few photos of Joe here and there during getting ready and at the reception.
Jack & Alexis also decided to serve their guests donuts from Jack’s Donuts instead of cake. They even had a giant donut made and iced so that they could cut it in leu of cutting a small cake! I loved this idea, and would say it turned out to be a huge hit because the donuts were eaten pretty quickly!
Overall, this wedding was so much fun and definitely has to be one of my favorite venues in regards to my shooting and editing style. Keep scrolling for some highlights from Mr. & Mrs. Sweigart’s big day!
