As if sharing the same first name doesn’t scream: we’re perfect for each other! The way Taylor (the bride) and Taylor (the groom) interact and care for each other is everything. They have the most sincere heart for each other.
After a long count down, Saturday, February 26th finally arrived for these two! This being my first wedding of 2022 I was SO excited to arrive and start photographing the beautiful details and memories this day held.
When I arrived to find Taylor getting ready in her bridal suite at The Mill Top in Noblesville, she had a certain glow to her. Just looking so beautiful and bridal as she got hair and makeup done, preparing to marry the love of her life.
Taylor & his guys were in the downstairs “man-cave” suite watching the game, drinking beers and playing some pool…a typical groomsmen scene!
I quickly got to work on shooting bridal details first. I loved all the sentimental pieces Taylor (the bride) had chosen to incorporate in her day. Pieces to remember her grandfathers who had just recently passed as well as something to remember a grandmother who could not make it to the wedding day. It’s truly items like this that deserve special attention because I know these family members are a cherished part of Taylor’s life & memories.
Taylor shared a sweet first look with her father, shedding a few tears and gifting him with a tie clip and a really neat little mixed tape that he is able to scan with his phone that will direct him to a Spotify playlist Taylor had personalized just for him. Oh how I just love father first looks, Taylor loves her father so much, it shows!
While Taylor & Taylor did not share a traditional first look, they incorporated a “first touch” around a corner without seeing each other. Here we took a few photos of them and let them read letters they wrote to each other before the ceremony began soon after.
During the ceremony, these two got a little emotional seeing each other down the aisle for the first time, love love love this moment! They also did a tree unity ceremony which was so unique and clever.
One of my favorite parts of every wedding day are the newlywed portraits. We got so lucky to have access to the rooftop at the Mill Top and got some pretty epic photos of these two being so dreamy as the wind blew Taylor’s veil on this beautiful rooftop view! These shots are to DIE. FOR.
The reception included a beautifully designed pie bar & wedding cake provided by Little Lady Cakes out of Indianapolis, a buffet-style dinner provided by Jacquies Catering and lots of dancing and mingling! Such a fun time!
I am excited to share some of my favorite moments from the brand new Mr & Mrs Scott’s big day, keep scrolling!
