On Saturday, July 27th, 2024 Sarah & Joey tied the knot at the beautiful St. John Catholic Church in Indianapolis followed by a gorgeous reception at Scottish Rite.
We started off the day at Sarah’s parents home for some getting ready and detail shots while the guys got ready at Bottleworks Hotel. The girls then hopped on a bus to head to Bottleworks, where Sarah & Joey shared a first look and just a few quick portraits together. Our next stop was Scottish Rite where we did most of our remaining portraits on the classic steps of Scottish and around the building outdoors. We were able to get so many of the must-have portraits done prior to the ceremony. All that was left was a few extended family shots after ceremony before Sarah & Joey were off to enjoy their cocktail hour with guests! If it’s a couples desire to join their own cocktail hour, even just some of it, I always highly encourage that and do my best to make it happen. That extra time spent mingling with your guests is gold on the wedding day, since the day just seems to fly by way too fast!
