Ellie & Wyatt’s wedding day at Black Iris Estate in Carmel, Indiana was so whimsical and dreamy. Like something straight out of a fairy tale!
Not only are the indoor areas of this Indianapolis area wedding venue gorgeous-the getting ready rooms, the reception hall, all of it is stunning with ample natural light for gorgeous photos. But in particular, the beautiful ceremony area at Black Iris Estate wedding venue is something so unique and nothing quite like it can be found around the Indianapolis area. It’s covered in greenery and makes you feel as though you are in this magical, intimate spot within the woods. Finding fun ways to get creative with photographing the ceremony amongst all the green is so much fun for a wedding photographer! I don’t think there is a more romantic spot to say your vows on your wedding day.
I absolutely adore working with couples like Ellie & Wyatt. Ellie is spunky, silly, genuine and just a ball of fun. Wyatt has just as much of a sense of humor as well as a sweet, gentle soft side. The two of them could not compliment each other better. Photographing this day and capturing their love, friends, families and their faith was unforgettable. It was one of the most HOT days in summer 2023, but you definitely couldn’t even tell by looking through this gallery.
