frequently asked questions about purdue grad sessions
It's better to schedule for an earlier date rather than closer to graduation due to crowds. I do not schedule graduation sessions on the week leading up to graduation weekend. Campus tends to be too full which makes it difficult to take photos without crowds in the background + there are very long wait lines at all hot spots. Prime time to schedule your graduation session is really anywhere between 2-4 weeks prior to graduation! Reach out to me for availability!
You will want to bring the outfit you want to wear under your gown + your cap and gown. Other optional props students like to bring are glitter (biodegradable is best!), champagne bottle (for a champagne pop photo!), props or uniforms associated to a sport you may have played for Purdue, etc.
I will ask you if you have a preference on where we take photos. I've had some students request special stops like a sports field they played on, sorority house, etc. We can stop wherever you want on campus as long as we can squeeze in all the spots within the 60 minute timeframe. The most popular spots I usually will hit are the Purdue engineering fountain, HOVD staircase, both Purdue landmark arches & bell tower.
You may bring 1 additional person (family, friend, another grad, etc) to your session at no additional cost. If you have more than 1 additional person, please reach out for a custom session quote.
