Allissa & Jacob are such a kind and sweet couple. You can feel the love they have between them when they interact and they are just so loving and kind to each other. They are truly each other’s best friend and soul mate.
Leading up to the wedding day I was hopeful the rain forecasted wouldn’t actually happen, because I just LOVE the Lizton Lodge and the areas it offers for photos outside and really wanted to take advantage of the grounds for Allissa & Jacob’s wedding day. Well, we lucked out and had no rain! Aside from the wind, it was a pretty perfect day to get married.
Jacob & Allissa shared an emotional first look followed by personal vow readings together, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tearing up myself behind the camera while photographing this. Another special detail about the day was the very end, when they cleared out the entire reception area and shared one last dance just the two of them to the song “Marry Me” by Train. It was an incredibly sweet, intimate moment and something I’ve never seen anyone do yet. They followed that with an LED balloon exit and off they went to spend the rest of their lives together!
What a fairytale day and honor it was to document their love story and celebrate alongside them. Enjoy some of my favorites!
