An East coast boy & a Mid-West girl who fell in love while attending college at Purdue University have officially tied the knot!
Josh is from Maine and Jessica is from Indiana and now they both live together in New Jersey where their jobs brought them, and I really think the East coast just fits their classy personalities so well! Their Purdue love story is quite romantic, met at Harry’s, first date at Greyhouse (just SO Purdue!) and then when they graduated Jessica got a job out East and Josh followed.
After much stress with the pandemic and rescheduling their original date from June, they finally married on Friday, September 11th, 2020 at Hidden Hollow Farm in Crawfordsville. I just love this “hidden” little gem of a wedding barn. Jessica’s parents folded 1,000 paper cranes and hung them at the reception as well as used them as guest favors…yes…I said ONE THOUSAND paper cranes. Now that’s dedication! Folding 1,000 paper cranes is supposed to be good luck though, so it was worth it for this couple who had gone through so much stress trying to get married during a pandemic as it was. They needed all the luck they could get!
From the florals to the gowns, the little details, diamonds and the way Josh & Jessica look at each other, this wedding day was so classy, beautiful & went oh so smooth. (Those paper cranes worked! 😉 ) I hope it was the best day ever for the new Mr & Mrs Young!
