You know it’s going to be a gorgeous wedding day when it’s happening at Hotel Carmichael!
Ali & Derek held both their wedding ceremony and reception in the Cole Porter Grand Ballroom at Hotel Carmichael in Carmel, Indiana on Saturday, March 26th, 2022.
There are so many things to love about this hotel venue in the beautiful city of Carmel, Indiana. One of the best features is how you can get amazing wedding photos even when the weather isn’t in your favor! The inside of the hotel is just as gorgeous as the outside areas! Ali & Derek’s wedding day turned out to be pretty windy, chilly and even a little snowy. We took very minimal photos outdoors (at request of the bride, and for good reason!) due to these conditions and did the rest entirely inside throughout the hotel lobby, Paul Dresser meeting room, Presidential Suite and the ballroom area.
Some little details that I just adored about this wedding day were the color palette, the classic elegant feel and the fact that their two little dogs tagged along on the day! Gotta love hotels that understand our pups feel just as much like family as our human family does!
Ali & Derek chose classic black & white along with different hues of blues for their wedding colors. I don’t think a better color palette could have been chosen to go along so perfectly with the features of Hotel Carmichael as well as the personality/taste of this couple. There are many touches of black & white, pretty blues and accents of gold all over this hotel. Basically, if you’re looking for a hotel wedding venue that screams luxury and elegance, Hotel Carmichael is it!
This whole wedding day was filled with sentimental first looks all around, Ali & Derek sharing their vows and promising forever in front of the people they love most and a party of a reception that stayed strong the ENTIRE NIGHT!
